The Fenland Gliding Club is a based at RAF Marham near King’s Lynn in Norfolk. It offers full gliding facilities for RAF Marham and all military units in East Anglia plus ATC and TA units. The Club is one of 13 such clubs in the RAF Gliding & Soaring Association (RAFGSA).
We welcome all Service members and their dependants, however membership of the club is not restricted to Service personnel only. We have many Civilian club members and we are always pleased to welcome new applicants.
All flying training is given to the British Gliding Association syllabus and the Club caters for all pilot abilities; from beginner, through to early solo and the advanced cross-country pilot. We have a fleet of two-seat training gliders, single-seat gliders, and a motor glider for aerotow launches and motor glider pilot license training. Winch launches are provided by our Skylaunch winch.
Generally we fly most weekends and public holidays throughout the year. In the summer we also run group trial lessons by arrangement on Friday evenings.
Our prices are some of the lowest you will find. Learning to glide is cheaper than you think!
